Pada tanggal 25 – 29 Juni 2023, peneliti HVDC GREEN, Dr. Rian Fatah Mochamad mempresentasikan dua karya tulis ilmiah pada seminar internasional Powertech 2023 di Belgrade, Serbia. Powertech adalah conference utama dari IEEE Power Engineering Society dimana akademisi sistem kelistrikan seluruh dunia berkumpul.
On 25 – 29 June 2023, HVDC GREEN researcher, Dr. Rian Fatah Mochamad presented two scientific papers at the Powertech 2023 international seminar in Belgrade, Serbia. Powertech is the main conference of the IEEE Power Engineering Society where it is the melting pot of electrical system academics from around the world.
Two papers presented related to HVDC research in Indonesia: determining the minimum electricity system that must be provided for stable HVDC operations and the HVDC tapping concept that can be used to tap small amount of power from the main HVDC link to electrify small island.
On this occasion, Dr. Rian Fatah Mochamad also had the opportunity to have discussions with world electricity figures such as Prof. Dirk Van Hertem, Prof. Jovica Milanovic, and Prof. Pierluigi Mancarella regarding the implementation of HVDC, system stability dynamics and distributed energy resources in Indonesia as well as research collaboration opportunities.
HVDC GREEN is a research collaboration between UGM and Aalborg University funded by Danida Denmark. This research aims to reduce Indonesia’s dependence on fossil fuels and increase EBT penetration through the implementation of HVDC technology for the interconnection of the Indonesian archipelago system. The HVDC GREEN research for the Indonesian side is supervised by Dr. Roni Irnawan. Further information about HVDC GREEN can be seen at https://www.energy.aau.dk/research/project-websites/hvdc-green
